Buttered green shell meat
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of TABASCO® Original Red. All opinions are 100% mine.
I had a hard time thinking of what to cook and serve for lunch, for my family that Sunday noon. So, I went to the market to buy something different to their eyes and taste. A menu that I don't have to convince them that it is delicious but also nutritious. My son eats everything I served, but my two daughters were both choosy when it comes to food. I served two sets of viand almost every day. Cooked pork or cow's meat for my children. Usually broiled fish and vegetable for my husband and me. But for that day I bought a kilo of fish to broiled, eggplant for vegetable salad, half kilo pork chop and one kilo "green shells" ( kind of shellfish ) here in the Philippines. Upon arriving home, I washed everything from the market and started cooking. I cook first the shellfish. I put a small cut of ginger at the cooking pan, just a cup of water, salt and sodium glutamate to taste then steamed it. After 10 minutes of steaming it, I put it on a bowl and let it cool for five minutes. Then I took the meat out of the shells and saute it with butter, garlic and onion. Then a small amount of powdered black paper and salt to taste. And I served it still hot with drops of TABASCO® Original Red. Just to make the story short, I cooked and served everything i bought from the market. But the most that got the attention of my husband, is the buttered green shell fish meat with drops of the TABASCO Original Red and he keep asking me where did I get my new recipe? I told him about the new sauce I discovered a few days ago, as recommended by a friend to me. And that same afternoon, I had a visitor who brought a box of pizza pie. After serving some slices, I keep the left over slices, then pre-heat it the next morning for breakfast, using again the TABASCO Original Red sauce. And Ohhhh... the sauce was really different from the sauces that I have tasted from a pizza parlor. And no wonder my daughter's friend who usually visits our house and works at one of the famous pizza parlor was surprise to see the sauce and told us that Tabasco Original Red is what their customers asking for their ordered pizza, here in the Philippines From then on, my new sauce is not a secret anymore...... the taste's still at the edge of my tongue. And my family keep using it on scrambled eggs, barbecue and other meat recipes. The Original Sauce was the first sauce introduced by the Mcllhenny family back in 1868 and continues to be their most popular sauce of 6 total sauces. And if you're a party lover, please don't forget to check out Tabasco Game Day Party menu page for more ideas and recipes of foods everyone loves. And please include to visit Pizza Perfected page as well. Now I can guarantee your money's worth buying and using TABASCO Original Red sauce. It really perks the flavor of different foods you will serve, especially your favorite pizza. Buy one and try it now. I dare you, you will really ask for more and .........more!
