I received an early birthday gift from a friend yesterday. It was specially delivered to me. Before I open the gift, I was hoping that it should be something that would nourish my mind. And upon opening it I found out that it was a new cooking book. Though I loved cooking books, I really want to have a short hand text book. My work requires writing notes as fast as I can and I should have my knowledge in short hand writing. Anyway, I might not worry so much where to find books that I need. OUT OF TOWN

February 22, 2011, I had packed all my things for an out of town assignment. I left the house leaving all my responsibilities to Kathy for I will be away for five days. What a great challenge for me and my officemate going to a province, where we don’t know even a single person. We met at the office where we were given a budget by our field coordinator. After we had arranged everything in the office, we rode a taxi heading ahead the bus terminal. We left the terminal at around 7:30 p.m. and arrived almost 10:30 in our destination, so bad we still didn't know where to sleep that night. We asked somebody, where we can find a room to spent the night and go with our assignment the next day. We took a ride to reach the place advised by the man in the plaza and paid Php 700 for twenty four hours accommodation. As to make the story short my 5 days assignment had been a mission accomplished and it was one of the most unforgettable experiences ever been in my life. And one thing more, I realize that I can now leave my children attending their own needs by themselves while I was out of their sight.
