I had a neighbor whose husband is a seaman. She lived so abundantly, because she received a five digit monthly salary from her husband and besides she only have one child. She's a good lady with a big heart and she's also very approachable. But as the saying goes that life is not a bed of roses all the time. One day as she was about to send her kid to school a news reached her, that her husband met an accident on board. A week later her husband arrived and told her that the company doctor advised him to be home for good, because of his physical condition. Her husband received a separation pay from the shipping company and then what’s next for their living? Since her husband is the bread winner of the family and that the situation was different from what she used to be, she decided to put up a business. My neighbor put up a business just right on their vacant lot in front of their house. She said that it's quite comfortable for her to manage her business where she can look over her household and manage her business at the same time. She opened up a snack counter with a four setter table. Then she hired a helper to assist her. Her food prices are a bit competitive and very much affordable and foods were delicious. After six months, she’s very lucky that customers come and go and that she needs to expand her business. To make the story short her business expanded and I was also surprise to see that she had a calling card given to the customers. I’ve seen her calling card and I suggest her to have her own business logo for her business identity. And thank you she did not disagree with me when I suggested her to visit logo design samples just to make sure that she will have a good taste for her business logo design. Want to try also? I received an early birthday gift from a friend yesterday. It was specially delivered to me. Before I open the gift, I was hoping that it should be something that would nourish my mind. And upon opening it I found out that it was a new cooking book. Though I loved cooking books, I really want to have a short hand text book. My work requires writing notes as fast as I can and I should have my knowledge in short hand writing. Anyway, I might not worry so much where to find books that I need. OUT OF TOWN

February 22, 2011, I had packed all my things for an out of town assignment. I left the house leaving all my responsibilities to Kathy for I will be away for five days. What a great challenge for me and my officemate going to a province, where we don’t know even a single person. We met at the office where we were given a budget by our field coordinator. After we had arranged everything in the office, we rode a taxi heading ahead the bus terminal. We left the terminal at around 7:30 p.m. and arrived almost 10:30 in our destination, so bad we still didn't know where to sleep that night. We asked somebody, where we can find a room to spent the night and go with our assignment the next day. We took a ride to reach the place advised by the man in the plaza and paid Php 700 for twenty four hours accommodation. As to make the story short my 5 days assignment had been a mission accomplished and it was one of the most unforgettable experiences ever been in my life. And one thing more, I realize that I can now leave my children attending their own needs by themselves while I was out of their sight.

PROMISE

God is always true to His promise.... Whatever He started with you, He will take it to completion. Because He perfectly loves you..... Nothing is hard if the heart has love; nothing is impossible when the heart understands; and nothing is heavy when God is in your heart....continue loving GOD above all,and you will harvest all the goodness in life!

GOD ANSWERS PRAYER

Thursday morning... a man was calling for somebody in front of our house. When I open the door, it's the postman calling my name. Then he gives me a brown envelope and let me sign my name as a proof of my acceptance of the said letter. Then the postman left and I got in closing the door. I slowly open the envelope and read the letter. Frankly speaking I can't understand some words used in some of the paragraphs, but I say "THANK YOU LORD" as I read those lines I can understand a bit. Then, I keep the envelope in my box. Just to make sure I can understand the message clearly I read it again and again. The message answers one of my most long waited prayers. It relieves me of all my fears. GOD knows what's in our hearts and mind. Just keep on praying.

WINES

That was before New Year, when Susie who works at the Korean bar invited her friends for her 25th birthday. She also invited some of her classmates in high school to join the fun. She grilled and steamed different kinds of seafood, broiled fish and pork and make green mango salad. Oh... how they love the food she prepared. At around 6 P.M. they start drinking liquors of different kinds. Some preferred Beer, Vodka and Red wine. The girls had been singing, laughing and having a lot of fun when they didn't noticed that it's almost midnight and the birthday celebrant there's no more wine to serve for them. Nobody offered to buy drinks since they were all drunk but still they want to continue the fun. So some of them shouted some more Beer... Vodka....Red Wines..... Wines.... I hope there's a wine company that would hear them so wines could be delivered right away to go on with the celebration. I think they need wine deals for their information. Sixth Form College

Have you heard that a lot of Korean citizens went to the Philippines to study English language here? My neighbor one day, told me that their looking for a reliever for one of their English tutorial teacher to be replaced for only two weeks. They don't want to spare time catching up subjects of their Korean students because they will be coming back home to Korea for just a month to enroll on their regular classes. I think it's a bit cheaper for Koreans to study English language here in the Philippines, that's why they preferred to study here and also Philippines is just a neighboring country for them. And I know that only well off families can sent their kids or relatives to take English lesson here. There's a lot of advantages spending money studying how to write and speak English. Firstly, to use it to communicate with people who are actively into business. It’s an open book that Koreans are business minded people and so obviously to understand and speak English language since a lot of people around the world speak English. But who knows some of this Koreans took up English language as a preparation to enroll at sixth form college london because they might know how excellent this school is. No doubt if I'm a Korean parent I will not take a second thought to enroll my kids or relatives to this kind of schools that can make them standout from the other and to make most probably their dreams come true.
