Osssh, I was so amaze to see this picture posted by my high school classmate. So, curious I told my daughter Korina to look some information about this tree.

The over 1,300-year-old balete tree (related to banyan trees) located in OISCA Farm in Canlaon City, Philippines, is probably the oldest known tree in the country as estimated by botanists from Silliman University. (Source: Wikipedia.com)

March 27, 2012, for the last time Korina wore her school uniform to attend her high school graduation. After the ceremony almost all of them cried for the feeling of leaving each other’s closeness for four years that they had been together. As I've said you missed 1/3 of your life's journey if ever you don't have a high school life. But good for the graduates today… there’s a Facebook that connects anywhere and whoever you looks for somebody you remembered anytime at any day....today.Unlike our high school days you're lucky enough if ever you had a photo for keeps.

50 AS IN

Thank GOD.. How time flies, yesterday I was 50 years existing with downs and ups in life.The good times and the bad times I survived. Thank you for those who remembered my day and have fun with me yesterday. GOD is good. I only wish good health for my family and long life so I can be with them to guide them.

Just got back from my five days assignment in the province. What an experience to remember. A cherished one.

Desk

I was in my elementary days, when I was able to know the meaning of the word "desk". In my own little understanding as a kid, desk is made of wood where you can sit down on it. But as I was getting older, I got to know it better and find a new meaning for it, as a furniture at its best and durable as Desks. Often times we look for beautiful designs and hard woods but find it frustrating as the furniture becomes older because its quality naturally fades. I had my own experience regarding this. I once bought a new dining set in a famous furniture shop at a high price many years ago and for only two years, I was surprise to see the wood color fading and found out the wood to be so cheap. So, I felt as if I was snatch of my money. And after that time, I suggested my husband that we rather make our own furniture. And we did. So until now we are still using it but if time comes that I need to change my furniture then, I will make an order on line to one of the branches of Desks , like their cabinets, book shelves and computer desk as well.
