New and Antique Clocks

Thank you for the new and fast rising technology of the world made by man. I don't need to look up the sun to know what time is it now. As I may recall we don't have watches or clocks at home when I was a kid. We only have a battery operated transistor radio that tells us the time once it was on. We don't have electricity during those times. My grandfather uses what they called “Petromax" and until now I don't really know what this word means, isn't that weird? That was a bit of my life story during the 70's where we lived in the same roof of my grandparent’s house. May be they don't know what the importance of clocks is and watches those times. But nowadays even on your cell phones you have your time to remind you of your schedules. I keep dreaming of a big house still; because I want to buy a big clock with pendulum. I want to put it at the corner of the receiving room and I will make my order at hermle clock.
